Instruction:

1, Use battery or regulated power supply as power source.Switch-mode power supply without filter such as power bank, phone charger can NOT be used because the interference of switch-mode power supply will affect this module.

2, FM_ANT port is used to connect FM antenna, in order to receive a better FM signal. 75cm telescopic antenna is recommended.

3, This module has 3Wx2 channels audio power amplifier, and can be connected to speaker (4Ω/3W speaker is recommended). If you plug in earphone, it will automatically switch to earphone channel, and close speaker channel.

4, Rotate VOL encoder to adjust volume, and LCD will display the volume value at the same time.

5, Rotate FRE encoder to adjust receiving frequency, and at the same time, the LCD screen displays the real-time frequency.

6, Press the VOL encoder to mute/unmute.

7, Press and hold FRE encoder to turn on/off automatic noise reduction function. LCD will display ON or OFF.

8, Automatic noise reduction threshold is adjustable only when automatic noise reduction function is turned on.

Press FRE encoder to enter automatic noise reduction threshold adjustment interface, and the adjusting range is from 0 to 20. The higher the threshold is, the easier the weak signal is muted.

9, Module has TTL voltage level serial port control interface. If need TTL serial port to communicate with this module, connect UART_RX, UART_TX and GND. You can use computer serial port or MCU to control module.Note:Note that the computer serial port voltage level is not TTL voltage level, so when communicating with computer, a RS323 to TTL voltage level adapter or a USB to TTL voltage level serial module is needed. Serial port control requires certain computer professional knowledge and skills, so you can skip this part if you are not sure.

10, Press and hold VOL encoder then power on to set campus broadcast, and if module displays "C1", campus broadcast will be open,; if it displays "C0", campus broadcast will be close. Restart module to enable setting(default "C0"). Press and hold FRE encoder then power on to set backlight, and if module displays "B1", backlight will be turned on always; if it displays "B0", backlight will be turned on for 20 seconds then off. Restart module to enable setting(default "B0").

11, Stereo/mono terminals are used to set receiving mode. Connecting them is single channel receiving mode and disconnecting them is stereo receiving mode. When there is weak single and too much base noise, you can use this function and switch to single channel in order to improve the SNR of radio and make the radio sound clearer.
