The KRX expansion bolt consists of a polypropylene sleeve and a countersunk head screw made of steel, covered with a protective layer of zinc. It is designed for the installation of lightweight interior finishes, metal elements, and lightweight installation components or mounting brackets in solid construction substrates. The special design of the spacing bands ensures that the dowel is firmly wedged in the hole and prevents the sleeve from rotating during screwing. The interior part of the T is equipped with guiding bands along its entire length to ensure safe guidance of the screw during installation.

The drilling diameter must be suitable for the wall material (the thickness of the fixed element corresponds to the maximum usable length of the dowel - Tfix).

The diameter of the drilled holes must be suitable for the diameter of the dowels used.

Holes in solid materials must be cleaned of burrs with a low-speed drill.

The dowel is inserted into the drilled hole, and the screw is driven through the fixed element until it is completely inserted into the sleeve (pre-mounting).
