➡️ Description and Purpose
The KRX expansion bolt consists of a polypropylene sleeve and a countersunk head screw made of steel with a zinc protection layer. It is designed for the installation of lightweight interior finishes, metal elements, and lightweight installation elements or mounting brackets in solid construction substrates. The special design of the spacer ribs ensures that the plug is firmly seated in the hole and prevents the sleeve from turning during screwing. The inner part of the T is equipped with guiding ribs along its entire length, which ensures safe guidance of the screw during installation.
➡️ Features and Benefits
The PZ recess allows the screw to be inserted with a wide range of available tools. Special plastic tabs prevent the sleeve from turning in the hole during installation. The special design of the spacer ribs firmly wedges the plug and prevents it from turning once the screw is partially inserted. The widened flange prevents the sleeve from sinking too deeply into the hole. The guide ribs inside the sleeve ensure central guidance of the screw. Galvanized, optimal protection against corrosion for indoor applications.
➡️ Application
Fixing interior wood fittings. Fixing baseboards. Fixing household equipment. Fixing cable trays. Fixing cable bundles.
➡️ Installation Procedure
Before installation, it is necessary to identify the substrate. Before installation, it is necessary to identify the substrate in which the plug will be installed and to compare the load that the plug will support with the load capacity indicated in the safety data sheet or national technical assessment. The drilling diameter must match the wall material (the thickness of the fixed element corresponds to the maximum usable length of the plug - Tfix).
Use the correct drilling method depending on the type of substrate (holes in aerated concrete masonry must be drilled with a non-hammer drill). The diameter of the drilled holes should match the diameter of the plugs used. Holes in solid materials must be cleaned of burrs with a reduced-speed drill. The plug is inserted into the drilled hole, and the screw is driven through the fixed element until it is fully embedded in the sleeve (pre-mounting).
➡️ Certification
The KRX wall plugs benefit from a national technical assessment: ITB-KOT-2018/0528 edition 2. The plugs we offer are of the highest quality and can be used with confidence in the construction industry. We take every effort to ensure that the products supplied to our customers are safe and suitable for specific tasks. Other sizes and types of plugs and all types of screws are available on other auctions.
