The YELLOX A2L surface, which is offered exclusively by SPAX worldwide, is free of chromium(VI) and therefore more environmentally friendly than the usual yellow zinc coating. Nevertheless, it is at the same time more resistant to corrosion than the conventional bright or yellow galvanized screws. YELLOX A2L is an innovation that benefits the environment and the user.This makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor use in structures where it is not exposed to direct weathering. The full thread extends the entire or nearly the entire length from the tip to the head. The more threads a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces that can be resisted by these screws. Especially useful in structural woodwork, where fully threaded screws are used for heavy-duty wood joints without additional hardware.Our countersunk head screws are pronounced with a 90° MULTI head. With its polygonal underside ("pockets"), the countersunk head mills its own suitable recess in the wood and then closes flush with the surface - without any pre-drilling or countersinking of the screw hole.
