Description
Applicable only to diesel vehicles, not petrol vehicles. Before buying, check the model of your engine. You can also determine it by its shape. If you are unable to identify it, please contact us. Compatible with engine codes M47,M47N,M47N2,M47R,M57,M67 (can be found on the label on the timing belt cover or trunk). Please see photos or detailed description for specific models. Reprogramming is required after installation to electronically disable the EGR valve in the ECU. EGR system and cooler removal can reduce the possibility of carbon deposits in the EGR valve and engine, reduce the likelihood of EGR valve clogging, reduce the risk of EGR valve clogging, reduce cleaning and maintenance, improve engine efficiency, accelerate acceleration response and extend engine life. Disconnect the electronic plug of the EGR valve and remove the vacuum tube. Remove the EGR pipe from the exhaust manifold. Connect the plugs to both ends of the cooler (ignore them if they are not available). Block the holes of the vacuum tube and exhaust manifold. Connect the EGR kit hose to the intake manifold. Check for leaks. If you want to improve engine performance, reduce the weight of the vehicle, or face frequent problems with EGR system (such as EGR valve blocking, EGR cooler leakage, etc.), resulting in high repair costs, or want to simplify vehicle maintenance, then this tool is an ideal choice.
