Curved blades, clean cut: rounded cutting edges surround the conductor during cutting to limit crushing, fraying and irregular ends when preparing cables. For flexible copper and aluminum: cuts in a controlled manner flexible single and multi-strand copper or aluminium conductors, for lengthening, connection and electrical installation. 152mm compact format: the short design makes it easy to use in electrical cabinets, junction boxes, cable trays and automotive harnesses where longer tools are difficult to handle. Cr-V steel and 1000V insulation: the cable cutter in chrome-vanadium steel has an anti-corrosion finish; the red and yellow insulated handles are VDE tested for applications up to 1000 V AC. Material limits: not suitable for steel wire, wire rope, hardened wire or hard drawn copper. Do not twist the blades sideways; control the edges, joint and insulation before use.
