Before mounting, it is advisable to choose the appropriate screw length, depending on the thickness of the components to be fixed and the minimum anchoring depth. The wood elements to be assembled must be free from defects (knots, cracks, stains, rot, construction and shape defects, mechanical damage). The screws must be screwed directly into the wooden support without pre-drilling. The screws have a serrated thread designed to allow them to penetrate and hold better in the wood structure. The serrations on the thread cut the wood fibers during screwing, which allows for deeper penetration and a firmer hold than traditional screws.
