Type 2 charging cable with open end is available in 5m, 23m and 10m. Designed as a replacement cable, it is ideal for replacing a short, damaged or worn fixed cable. By choosing a longer version, you increase the usable charging area. Type 2 charging cable is designed for maximum power of 7kW under 230V, 32A and single phase. The vehicle connector complies with IEC 62196-2 and the cable meets the requirements of EN 50620. Three types of connection are provided: grommet terminals, fork terminals and wiring tips. The cable can be adapted to different connection terminals without having to purchase compatible terminals separately. The conductors L, N, PE and CP are clearly identified. The PP resistor is already integrated into the Type 2 connector, so no separate PP wire is required. The flexible and abrasion-resistant TPU cable jacket is designed for regular indoor and outdoor use. The Type 2 vehicle connector has an IP55 protection rating and is suitable for ambient temperatures from -30°C to +122°C. The ergonomic and rubberized grip zones ensure a secure grip when plugging and unplugging, even with gloves, in cold weather or with wet hands. The Type 2 vehicle connector is compatible with most European electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles equipped with Type 2 charging plug.
