Using on the best materials and finishing the ornament by hand allows us to achieve this beautiful finish to the product.

This hide is hand painted with non-toxic acrylic paint. This not only helps to ensure the perfect finish to every ornament we produce, but it also provides an extra hardened layer to the outer shell of these ornaments for improved longevity. The technique used in achieving the finish we are so proud of is called dry brushing, this is when we use a relatively dry paint brush that helps to give a rougher more natural effect.

Keeping Ornaments Clean

Who doesn't like a clean home and fish are no different! We would recommend cleaning your ornaments once a month to ensure they stay in perfect condition for as long as you need them in your picturesque fish tank displays.

To clean our range of ornaments it is very simple indeed. Once removed from the tank, simply put them in a bucket of warm tap water and give them a scrub all over using an aquarium brush or toothbrush. Make sure to brush the underside of the ornament as this is where algae can build up.

Once your ornaments are all cleaned up, simply rinse under water to remove any excess dirt and then you can stabilize the product in your tank again. It really is as easy as that!
