Description
Perfect tool for securing the constant velocity joint boot for quickly tensioning and securing the boot strap.
High-quality steel clamp wrench for the constant velocity joint boot helps you easily install the constant velocity joint boot.
Clamp the free end of a 3/8" or 1/4" roll of belt around the boot; thread the belt through the clevis head and the slot of the reel mandrel; Place a 1/2" ratchet on the reel; bend the back of the strap onto the sleeve and clamp it to create tension and cut; fold the remaining strap end into the clip and tap the ear tabs of the clip to secure; wrap the sleeve double for extra strength.
Equipped with a "straight" crimp clamp at the end, this sleeve crimps the clamping lugs to prevent leakage.
The CV joint crimping pliers for securing or removing ear clamps are suitable for Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, and Mazda. These pliers are suitable for securing the clamp on CV joint boot clamps with ear clamps and can also be used for securing boot clamps on ATVs and UTVs.
