Matter over Thread Presence Detector, 3 Zones Detection

Presence detector combines a mmWave radar, PIR infrared sensor and ambient light sensor for accurate human presence detection. Even in near immobility (work, reading, TV or rest), it reliably detects presence, including micro-movements such as breathing. Unlike traditional motion sensors, it reduces false alarms and erroneous triggers, allowing lighting fans, and smart scenes to be automatically controlled according to the user's actual presence. This Matter compatible presence detector connects directly via a Thread Border Router to Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings and Home Assistant, without additional hub or 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Motion and presence sensor requires a compatible Thread Border Router for Matter connection. The detection area can be divided into 3 independent zones and create automation rules for each. In an office, the main lighting and desk lamp can be controlled separately, or in a bathroom, the night light, the main lighting and the mirror can be triggered in a targeted manner. Each zone can function as an independent presence detector on compatible platforms. The motion sensor covers up to 6m and detects presence up to 4m with high accuracy. Automations are run locally and even work without the Internet. This motion sensor does not store images, audio, or location data. The presence detector can also work with smart speakers, alarm systems and other Matter devices, and automatically trigger lighting, notifications or security functions when a detected presence is detected. The presence detector has a stand with 90° tilt and 360° rotation, allowing flexible installation on the ceiling, wall or corners. The included CR123A battery allows for wireless installation and provides up to 3 years of battery life. With IP67 protection and an operating range of -4°F to +140°F, this motion sensor is ideal for bathrooms, basements, attics, garages, corridors and other indoor spaces as well as some protected outdoor areas.
