I have an assortment of bottles that I’ve been wanting to turn into “potions” with my kids but needed a way to seal them. This cork set worked out beautifully and came with enough variety to cork all of the different sizes.I was surprised by how compact these corks are as opposed to others I’ve seen. They’re very dense with no chipped edges and seal very well. Because our potions are meant to be shaken and not necessarily reopened, I used a little hot glue in the mouth of each bottle just to make sure we don’t have any leaks. Overall, I was very pleased with this set. Unfortunately, it has been too hot to spend time in my workshop so I’ll tell you why I ordered these stoppers. I intend to make either a couple of trivets or several coasters with these corks. I have circular and square silicone molds to use when making items with resin. My plan is to place an appropriate number of stoppers in a mold and then fill the mold with resin. Once the resin is cured, I’ll polish up the resulting coasters and either use them at home (most likely) or give them as gifts to special friends and family. I am really looking forward to working with these corks.
