Description
This capable ATEX rated blue terminal block, suitable for Ex i applications, has been designed for use in areas where the presence of vapours and gases in the operating atmosphere could prove dangerous if ignited by an errant spark. This terminal block fit 35mm DIN Rails and incorporate cage clamp technology, and is around 30% smaller than standard terminal blocks.
Versatile, this WAGO TOPJOB S single level DIN rail mount terminal block with pushbutton and test port, enables easy connection, the clamping point is opened by actuating the push-button with any common tool. The orange push-button allows the actuator to be clearly and quickly distinguished from the conductor entry.
This DIN rail mount terminal block is backed by the renowned reliability of push-in cage clamp technology, offering the additional possibility of connecting solid and stranded conductors, as well as fine-stranded conductors with gas-tight crimped ferrules, push fit, no tools needed. For suitable endplates see part numbers 2006-1291 and 2006-1292.
The WAGO TOPJOB S range of DIN rail terminal blocks can also be fitted with marker tiles to assist engineers and electricians when wiring and fault finding. Visiter la boutique WAGOWAGO Kontakttechnik Gmbh & Co. KG, ou plus simplement par sa marque WAGO, est une entreprise allemande basée à Minden (Westphalie). C’est un fabriquant spécialiste des bornes pour appareillage électrique et le bâtiment, et des composants pour automatismes.
C’est à l’origine une entreprise familiale fondée en avril 1951 par Friedrich Hohorst et Heinrich Nagel, qui mirent au point la pince de serrage à ressort (spring clamp). Plus tard l’entreprise WAGO, toujours sous la houlette de Friedrich Hohorst, inventa d’autres modèles de connectique à ressort : bornes, borniers et connecteurs sans vis, ainsi que les dominos. Dans les années 1990, WAGO mont en gamme en concevant de l’électronique grand public, comme des bus internes informatiques (qui relient tous les composants internes d'un ordinateur). Elle fabrique surtout, suite à la croissance exponentielle de ses ventes, à Sondershausen en Allemagne, en plus du site de Minden.
Elle emploie 2600 personnes sur les deux sites outre-Rhin, soit plus de la moitié de ses effectifs mondiaux.
