NO BOUND WIRE REQUIRED: For small and large gardens with a maximum area of 500 m2 with well-defined boundaries and an outdoor power outlet. In order for the 18 to perform at its best, your garden should have a clear boundary around your lawn, such as dark mulch, paving slabs or gravel, or a raised edge at least 6 cm high. Lawn boundary adjustments may be required. See the instruction video for more details. AUTOMATIC CHARGING - In hourly mode, the 18 automatically operates from sunrise to sunset, charging when needed. With the 18, you can also customize your robot's activation times and run time using a simple adjustment button and an LCD screen interface. RECHARGING SYSTEM READY TO LOCATION - Simply insert the charger into an outdoor power outlet, set the schedule and the 18 takes care of the rest. No need to lay guide wires or map boundaries. The trimmer uses a combination of GPS and camera positioning to find its way to the charging station when its battery is low. PROHIBITED AREAS - The Ban Strip can temporarily or permanently insulate sections of your garden that you don't want the 18 to penetrate in, such as newly seeded lawn parts, steep slopes, ponds, or wilderness areas of your garden. The mower detects the tape using onboard sensors. A 10m ban tape is supplied in the box. PRUNING BY DROPPING - The 18 can also be used in "prune by drop" mode to prune other lawns, in other locations. Just carry the fully loaded mower to the other lawn and choose the spiral or random cutting pattern. The 18 will trim until its battery is low and wait on the lawn to be taken back to the charging station. SAFETY AND PROTECTION: Lift, tilt and collision sensors immediately stop the blades if the mower is lifted or if it hits objects. For security reasons, it has a PIN code to prevent unauthorized use. Funcified only during the day with vision technology, the 18 helps protect nightlife such as hedgehogs by allowing them to travel safely at night. ADJUSTABLE CUTTING HEIGHT - Choose from 7 cutting heights between 20mm and 80mm for a neat lawn. For optimal performance and to encourage healthy lawn growth, use 60mm for longer grass and, after regular mowing, gradually reduce the cutting height to the desired length.
